local walk.

Approximately 7 miles long, the Nickey Line footpath and cycle way in Hertfordshire is a former railway line (the Harpenden to Hemel Hempstead Railway).

The Nickey Line still links Harpenden, Redbourn and Hemel Hempstead but is used now by railway history enthusiasts, walkers and cyclists from many parts of the country. It was opened as a footpath /cycleway in 1985.

It's pram-able to which is great.

Aldenham Country Park is set in 100 acres of parkland adjacent to a 60 acre lake. It features Pooh Bear's 100 Aker wood which is free to visit, though there is a charge for the car park.

foodie taste

to try.

A wonderful community agricultural scheme with vegetable beds, lots of fresh, seasonal fruit & veg, apple juice and our own honey.

They sell at the farmers market in St Albans on the second Sunday of every month from 8am to 2pm.

We love their honey with goats cheese!
